Become a Member
1. Introduction
RenewICT Foundation is an unincorporated association and a registered charity. These Terms of Membership set out the rights and responsibilities of members and the conditions under which membership is granted and maintained.
2. Eligibility
Membership is open to individuals who support the purpose and objectives of RenewICT Foundation and agree to abide by its rules and values.
3. Annual Membership Fee
The annual membership fee is $10.00 AUD.
This fee contributes to the administrative costs of operating the Foundation.
The membership period runs from 1 July to 30 June each financial year.
Membership must be renewed prior to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to ensure continued membership rights and inclusion on the member contact list.
4. Member Rights
Members are entitled to:
Receive notice of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and attend as non-voting observers (unless otherwise determined by the Management Committee).
Receive any newsletters or official communications prepared and issued by the Foundation.
Be informed of the Foundation’s activities and developments.
Be listed as a supporter of RenewICT Foundation’s mission (unless the member opts out).
5. Membership Responsibilities
Members agree to:
Act in a manner consistent with the values and charitable objectives of RenewICT Foundation.
Pay the annual membership fee in a timely manner, ensuring renewal prior to the AGM.
Notify the Foundation of any changes to their contact information.
6. Termination of Membership
Membership may cease:
Upon written resignation by the member.
If the annual fee is not paid by the start of the AGM for that financial year.
Upon advice that the member has died.
At the discretion of the Management Committee, where a member has acted in a way that brings the Foundation into disrepute or is contrary to its charitable purpose.
7. Privacy and Communications
Member contact information will be kept confidential and used only for purposes related to membership communications and the operations of RenewICT Foundation. By joining, members consent to being contacted by email or other preferred method for Foundation-related matters.
8. Amendments to Terms
These Terms of Membership may be amended by resolution of the Management Committee. Members will be notified of any material changes.
